Very soon after opening their new company, the Seright team was very fortunate to have Dave Shean join them as their In-House Escrow Advisory. Dave began his real estate career in 1965 and has worked his way through the Real Estate, Title, and Escrow Industries. In 2007 Dave was offered the opportunity to reinvent his services by offering dedicated “ON CALL” Contract Escrow Administration, Traveling Notary services and Escrow Litigation Consultation and Expert Witness Testimony.

Dave was president of the California Escrow Association (CEA) in 1988 and he earned his CSEO designation in 1987 and his CEI designation in 1995 as credentials for Escrow activity and his CNSA designation for Notarial activity. For 20-some-odd years Dave has remained very active on national escrow matters for AEA and CEA including working with MISMO on several committees for Uniform Closing Instructions, consistent Lender Fee Naming, and updating Remote Online Notary (RON) guidelines.

Dave has donated platelets at the City of Hope over 235 times. In his spare time Dave (aka PaPa Bear) created PaPa Bear’s Special Unique Rub (the very best dry spice to add flavor to various foods) given to family and friends for over 25 years. Dave enjoys fresh chocolate chip cookies and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
